Whitney Isenhart has made her mark in this male dominant sport, and inspires other young women to become active in the outdoors. Growing up in Green Bay, Wisconsin has given her many opportunities to tag along on her dad’s hunts as a child. Being her dad’s right hand girl growing up not only gave Whitney the chance to learn the art of hunting but also instilled the passion to hunt. At age 7 Whitney experienced the thrill of hunting when she shot her first pheasant on the fly. After her first successful hunt Whitney knew this was a sport she never wanted to give up. Throughout her hunting career Whitney has had the opportunity to hunt various game such as white tail deer, duck, geese, elk, and turkey. Whitney has been on many exciting and adrenaline rushing hunts, but being drawn for an elk hunt in Arizona at 18 years old takes the cake where she harvested a huge 6x6 heard bull. Whitney has broken into the professional side of hunting and is currently the only female face for women’s Under Armour hunting line. She is excited for next season and can’t wait to get back in the outdoors.
