For me there has always been an overwhelming desire to explore elements and country I don’t know. I’m never truly satisfied until I can I say I have hunted that. My Dad showed me thousands of miles of country and taught me the necessary skills needed to survive and hunt, although I honestly have to admit I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to remember the name of every mountain and drainage that he does. My passion was fueled thanks to a close friend introducing me to archery hunting. Quickly I fell in love with the pursuit, preparation, and planning that goes into every bow hunt. Having a twin brother with the same ideas and as I do makes for a good team attitude (most of the time) :). We take each others hunts as if we were the one looking in the peep sight. The season of 2013 we spent every weekend either shed hunting, scouting, or bow hunting either in Idaho or Nevada. Together Beau and I plan on taming the west with bow hunts planned from Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, and northern California. We are always planning the next adventure, our main objective is to learn from the trials we endured from previous hunts and remember the real reasons we do. For guys like us memories made on the mountains with friends and family is the main fuel behind the fire. I thank God every hunt for the ability to pursue my dreams in the great outdoors.
