I am 28 and was born and raised in Idaho. I live in Caldwell with my wife Kayla. I work as a journeyman electrician for a small local electrical outfit. Hunting has always been a huge part of my life, but hunting mule deer with a bow is my biggest passion. I love the challenges that are faced when hunting with an over-the-counter tag and limited time off from work.  I take great pride in being successful on my hunts each year. I truly believe that the hunt isn’t about notching a tag or the game animals we pursue, but the experiences that we are taken on along the way.  I spend lots of time in the mountains each year scouting new country and looking for that trophy of a lifetime. Whether it’s hunting black bears on a sunny Idaho spring day or chasing screaming bulls in the rugged Idaho backcountry on a crisp September morning, you can expect me to be on the trail in hot pursuit of the big game that call Idaho’s rugged country home. I rely heavily on my gear to get me through those tough hunts and help to keep my focused on the task at hand. I’m glad to be a part of Blacks Creek Guide Gear to help in achieving my hunting and outdoor goals.
